Music Work

I am passionate about the appreciation and creation of classical music. My favorite works are from the Romantic and Impressionist periods, especially these composers: Ravel, Debussy, Dvořák, Wang Xilin.

• Orchestration / Arranging (2020 ~ )
  I do a small amount of orchestration and arranging. Some works can be found on bilibili.
• Classical Music Composition (2020 ~ ) Similarly, I do a small amount of classical music composition, especially chamber and orchestral works based on Impressionist colors and harmonies. Some works can be found on SoundCloud.
• Choral Performance (2014 ~ ) I participated in the high school choir and the Beijing Institute of Technology Student Choir (2018 - 2021). My voice parts are Bass or Alto.
• Piano Performance (2005 ~ ) I have been learning piano since I was a child, but unfortunately, this learning has not been continuous.
• Flute Performance (2019 ~ ) I started learning the flute when I began working/teaching from home in 2019. The model of the instrument I use is Yamaha YFL-472.

Video Games

• World of Warcraft (2006 ~ )
  I have been playing World of Warcraft with my father since elementary school, and my total playtime exceeds 2500 hours. I have estimated several times that if I had used this time to write papers, I might have published dozens of ICLR papers. But no, rest is also part of research.
  I have achieved Cutting Edge achievements in versions 8.3, 9.1, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 11.0, 11.1, and 11.2.
  My characters can be found on WCL, another WCL and Raider.IO.
  I have uploaded some combat videos on Bilibili, but they are not suitable for public display on an academic homepage.
  I ranked in the top 50 healers in Asia for Mythic+ in version 10.2.
• Overwatch (2017 ~ )
  I have been playing Overwatch since the Overwatch 1 era. My main hero is Sigma. I reached the top 500 ranking in China in 2019.
• Monster Hunter: World (2018 ~ )
  I once completed the hunt for the Kulve Taroth in Monster Hunter: World in under 6 minutes. My main weapon is Dual Blades.

Others

• Keyboard Enthusiast
  I like mechanical keyboards and have used various models. The keyboards I currently use are NiZ Plum 84EC (gaming and light office work, used for 7 years), Keychron V1 Max-Gateron Jupiter Banana (office/research/programming/writing), FILCO Majestouch 3 Brown Switch (writing).
• Programming Competitions This should be a basic pastime for computer science students. I once ranked in the top 5% on LeetCode (now retired).
• Food and Drinks I like to drink English black tea and Japanese green tea and plum wine (underage friends please do not imitate). I like curry and croquettes. I have no physiological or psychological discomfort with human food in the usual sense. *But I still maintain an amazing BMI of 17.9, even with no dietary restrictions and almost no physical exercise.

• 食べ物と飲み物 イギリスの紅茶と日本の緑茶と梅酒を飲むのが好きです（未成年の方は模倣しないでください）. カレーとコロッケが好きです. 通常の意味での人間の食べ物に対して生理的または心理的な不快感はありません. *しかし，食事制限をせず，ほとんど運動をしなくても，驚異的なBMI17.9を維持しています.

• 键盘爱好者

• 编程比赛
  这应该是计算机系学生的基础消遣. 我曾经一度在LeetCode上排到前5%（现已退役）.
• 食物和饮料
  我喜欢喝英式红茶和日本绿茶及梅酒（未成年朋友请勿模仿）. 我喜欢咖喱和可乐饼. 我对于通常意义上的人类食物都没有生理或心理上的不适.
  *但我仍保持了惊人的17.9的BMI，即使我完全不限制饮食，也几乎没有体育锻炼.
